Can I bring friends & family to watch my child(ren) during their ride?
We allow a maximum of two non-riding adult spectators to accompany each child rider. Eg if you have 3 children booked for a ride, you may have a maximum of 6 adults on foot accompanying them. Please respect this rule as we enforce it strictly. If you bring with you more adults than the allowed amount, they will be asked to wait in the car park for the duration of the ride.

What is your minimum age for pony rides?
We do the rides for children from two years old. All children under 4yrs require an adult/parent to walk alongside on foot to support them for the duration of the ride. Adults may not ride the same horse along with their young child - two people riding the same horse is not permitted.
Where do your rides take place?
All our rides are done out in Ruislip Woods, not in an arena.
What should I wear for my ride?
Riders are required to wear long, stretchy trousers such as leggings, jogging bottoms or jeans with stretch in them. Shoes should be closed and have a slight heel, otherwise trainers or wellies are ok. No sandals, flip flops, shorts or skirts to be worn please! We will refuse those who come dressed inappropriately to ride. Please also be mindful the helmets you will be required to wear fit closely to the head and are not designed to accommodate big or elaborate hairstyles or to be worn on top of headwear or accessories. People with long hair should wear it in a flat hairstyle such as a low ponytail to allow the hat to sit correctly.
For anyone who would like to walk along on foot, please wear sturdy shoes for safety around the horses. No open toe shoes/sandals. Also please note it does get muddy out in the woods where the rides take place after rainfall and in the autumn & winter so wellies are ideal.
Do I need to bring my own hat/gear?
No we provide you with hats, but you are welcome to bring & use your own if you have one manufactured up to the latest BSEN & PAS015 standard. If your hat does not meet these standards, we will insist on you using one of ours instead. We encourage regular riders to buy their own hat. (All riders must wear a hat at all times). Anything else you wish to bring/wear must be your own. We do not provide anything other than hats.
What age do you charge adult prices?
People aged 16 and over are classed as adults.
What Happens if it rains?
Our rides still take place in mild to moderate rain. This is not a problem as long as riders are dressed appropriately for the weather. In the event of dangerous weather, we will contact you to reschedule.
I am an experienced rider but my friend is not, can we ride together?
Yes you can, but please be aware that you will ride at the pace of the slowest and least experienced rider so that the group stays together and to ensure everyone’s safety. Your ride will be escorted by someone from the stables on foot with you.
Do you provide food with your birthday parties?
